My journey began my senior year of high school. What started out as high school football games, quickly turned into seniors, births, and weddings. One of the greatest joys in my life is being able to tell the love stories of some of the most incredible people.
I am also a Kindergarten teacher, so I get to do two things I LOVE. My life is never boring, and I consider it such a blessing to freeze time and capture sweet moments.
I have 2 nieces, 1 bonus niece, and 1 bonus nephew (the bonus ones are actually cousins) that I get to hangout with on the reg and usually end up being models for me. I also have the most precious grandma ever and if you know her, you know she is the best snickerdoodle cookie maker in the county.
My favorite parts of weddings are usually father/bride dances or father/bride first looks…and of course, the cake. I also love the tiny details like your grandma putting on your jewelry, or groomsmen picking on the groom.
In my spare time, I can be found gulping down caffeine (usually Dr Pepper or sweet tea), hanging with my grandma, or folding laundry… which is what I should be doing currently. I also get the opportunity to run my churches social media page! I’m really just winging it though.
I love love love getting to know all my clients whether you’re new, returning, or scouting out a photographer for your big day!
This is my very best friend, Alex. We met through FFA alumni camp (Blue and Gold forever!) and then she ended up marrying a guy I grew up with! You will find her tagging along with me at 90 percent of weddings that I shoot. Not only does she help photograph at weddings, but she is a clipboard holder, veil fixer, pony tail on the wrist checker, and plate filler. A lot of the close up detail shots are because of her, and I am so grateful for that. She basically does it all!
In her spare time you can most likely find her on her front porch drinking a Diet Coke, playing with her pups Clems and Birdie, or riding a three wheeler. She is also a full time elementary counselor.
We love late night Ross trips, Texas Roadhouse rolls, The Mont's nachos, Chinese food, John Anderson, and eating wedding cake. We are pretty easy to get along with.
I am so appreciative of all she does not only for me, but for anyone who is around her! Weddings definitely go a lot smoother when she is there.
